Song Birds
A cardinal appearing in basswood ring was one of my first attempts at carving a bird. It was one of many for the 1984 issue of annual Christmas tree ornaments. Competition in this area of woodcarving is very tough, but I rarely fail to make a sale when I have a bird or two on display.
